This page contains two different types of creativity on my part. The first type is the more silly type. I love to make things, be it random (horrible) polymer clay sculptures or costumes or some other thing entirely. I enjoy sharing, and this is my website, so I share!
The second type of creativity is the more writing-oriented type. I wanted to share some of my strategies for world-building as I write my fantasy stories. However, I want to make this very clear: There is no one right way to make up a fantasy world. Just because these are some ways I do some things, it doesn't mean you should approach your world-building in exactly the same way. Your world is your own. Please, run with your own worlds in the way that feels most right to you. Maybe a few of these ideas will spark something in you, or maybe it's all completely useless. Best of luck, whatever the case may be!
That said, the following are miscellaneous projects I've done in my spare time. You should be able to tell the difference between the two types on your own. Enjoy!
The Beach Ball World Map: This project was inspired by author Sherwood Smith, who revealed in an interview that she used a beach ball to make a map of her fantasy world. I liked the idea so much that I had to use it, myself. (This page is a bit of a work in progress. Pictures will be coming along as I have more time.)
Dragon Wings: A brief account of the creation of my Attinor Dragon-Kin costume. Yes, I'm just geeky enough to make a costume based off of one of my own settings. Once you see the wings, maybe you'll understand.
